• The motor vehicle operator is responsible for maintain logs of the vehicles, i.e. which vehicles are being driven by which driver and for what purpose. The time period for which the vehicle has been in use is also recorded.

• The motor vehicle operator is responsible for maintaining a detailed log containing all the information about the deliveries made.

• The motor vehicle operator is responsible for the maintenance of all the vehicles, and keeping a track of the mileage of the vehicles, the gas and oil usage.

• The motor vehicle operator is responsible for ensuring that all the safety rules, regulations and procedures are being followed in the process.

• The motor vehicle operator is responsible for the loading and unloading of the vehicles in case of deliveries of material/ goods etc. is being made.

• The motor vehicle operator is responsible for ensuring that all the items being transported are in the best condition.

• The motor vehicle operator must keep a check on the functioning of the vehicle and is responsible for sending them to repair in case of some damage/ inefficiency.
