  • Special education aide teachers are responsible for working with mentally or physically disabled or handicapped students and understanding their disabilities. After understanding the nature of their disabilities, they are required to devise methods and approaches which would be effective in imparting them knowledge and education.
  • It is the job responsibility of a special education aide to help other teachers in teaching set lesson plans and assisting each student by giving them personal time and special attention.
  • A special education aide teacher is also responsible for gathering educative material and preparing extra data which would be useful for the special students.
