ESL Teacher job responsibilities include teaching English language to the students whose first language is not English. Like any other teacher, the ESL teachers are also required to develop study programs, prepare lesson plans, engage students during the classroom sessions, prepare test papers, conduct examination and evaluate the performance of the students.
In order to become an ESL teacher one must have at least a bachelor’s degree in teaching English as a second language. Candidates having a relevant work experience stand a better chance to work s an ESL teacher.
