It is the duty of a customer service officer to understand the customer’s requirement and deal with him accordingly in order to ensure proper customer satisfaction. A person must possess good communication skills in order to handle this position well.

  • Customer Service Officer is responsible for resolving any kind of complaints of the customers. He may be required to speak with officials in different departments in order to get to the solution.
  • Customer Service Officer is responsible for handling the customer queries related t the products and services of his company.
  • Customer Service Officer may be required to handle the customers over the phone, email, chat or even face to face.
  • Customer Service Officer needs to understand the customer requirements. He is required to take down customer’s request related to delivery of some product, activation/ deactivation of some service or any other similar request and get it processed within the time committed to the customer.
  • Customer Service Officer is expected to work as per the rules and regulations set by the company and deal with the customers accordingly.
